A significant number of SEG athletes were selected to represent Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Linconshire at the Intercounties Cross Country Championships.

The performance of the day came from Hannah Metherall in the U20W race. Hannah finished 16th in 27:23, 2nd Yorkshire counter and helped Yorkshire to the team silver medal.

In the senior men’s race, James McCrae was 62nd in 35:59 and was rewarded with a bronze medal in the team competition.

Yorkshire finished 4th with Jamie Hall in 80th in 36:20.

Charlotte Slack, also acting as one of the Yorkshire team managers, was 71st in 35:29. Eve Pannone was 153rd in 35:29. Yorkshire women claimed the silver team medal.

Jonah Patton and Sam Tierney represented Derbyshire in the U20M race. Jonah was 97th in 32:52 and Sam 143rd in 34:46. Derbyshire were third team.
