Graves Park

There was a very large turnout of SEG athletes for the final South Yorkshire cross country league and championships race at a muddy Graves Park.

Chris Laws was 2nd in the SM race in 34.15 with Euan Patton, in close attendance, 3rd in 34.36.

Joh Birch made a strong run over the second half of the course to take 4th in 34.44.

Ben Sharrock was 8th in 35.06, Kieron Sexton 11th in 35.35, Harvey Martin 14th in 36.05, Tom Bailey 15th in 36.06, Rob Smith 16th in 36.20 and Tom Buckley 18th in 36.26.

Andy Thake rolled back the years, finishing 22nd in 36.46 with Christian Battersby 23rd in 36.48. Josh Williams ws 28th in 37.36, Craig Fishwick 29th in 37.39 and Thomas Harrison 30th in 37.42.

Jonah Patton was 40th (8th U20) in 38.42.

Jame Hartley was 50th in 40:18 and Simon Patton 54th in 40.47.

Sam Tierney was 58th in 41.13, Jon Slate 64th in 41.58 and Gareth Phoenix 43rd in 44.40.

Eve Pannone was always in the leading pack in the SW race, eventually taking 3rd in 25.58. Nicola Squires ran strongly to finish 9th (1st V35) in 26.34. Lucy Farquhar had her best run of the winter,finishing 24th in 29.45. Georgie Offer was 30th in 30.55 and Kirsty Bryan-Jones 61st in 34.30.

Euan Patton again won the U17B race in 22.04.
