Lauren and Andy Heyes ran three legs each to win the mixed relay event at the University of Manchester relays for HHS.

Andy lead off on the first leg, running 9:12 and then ran the 3rd and 5th legs in 9:26 and 9:32. Lauren ran the 2nd, 4th and 6th legs in 10:21, 10:21 and 10:30.

Remarkably, Lauren ran the 1st, 2nd and 5th fastest legs of the day in the women’s competition! By comparison, Andy’s opening leg was a creditable 10th fastest in the men’s competition.

Katie Palfreeman and Laura Trask were also competing for Birmingham University.

Laura ran 12:19 the opening leg for TLC Reimagined.

Katie ran 10:46 (9th fastest time of the day) on the opening leg for the women’s team and then 11.21 and 11.25 on legs 4 and 6 for mixed teams.
